Wild Wednesday 83 - Lotsa Birds
A quick picnic lunch by Narrabeen Lake turned out to be a great photo opportunity as the place was teeming with wildlife. A pair of nervous masked lapwings, lotsa ducks and ducklings, a cacophony of laughing kookaburras, a foraging crested pigeon and I could hear a whip bird singing, but I’ve yet to see one!
There was a cormorant camouflaged in the bushes and in the middle of the lake was a pelican, the lorikeets and honeyeaters were making a racket and the Magpies started hanging around (almost begging) for scraps of food.
A very pleasant Wild Wednesday…...
