Well, it looks like my tricky bit of work has been taken care of.

My bit has anyway - getting the paperwork ready and signed. As of 10am, it was up to the banks to move the money around as directed. It should be routine, but...

About 15 years ago I was in a similar position and instructed the bank to move £800,000 out of my account into my client's. They did it. Trouble was, they did it again the next day (by mistake, obviously) and then phoned to say the account was badly overdrawn.

That was an unhappy day.

It was a short meeting this morning, but not easy. The other 3 people there had fallen out badly on Friday - cracked under the pressure of trying to do too much too quickly. Part of my function today was to try to make sure they could hold things together long enough to finish the meeting.

Then at 5pm, just as my wee brain was shutting down, off to the Gaelic class. I survived.
