Sunset strip

We were up and out relatively early, another nice bright morning :-)

We drove across to our friends to pick up some wine they had collected for both themselves and us. They had asked us if we would like to stay for lunch, which we did, and very nice it was too! Di is a great cook, so we were treated to a sicilian pasta dish with swordfish and aubergine followed by lemon sorbet, pistachio cannoli and coffee :-))

We left mid afternoon to head to daughters house, as we were collecting Emily from after school club, then back to theirs for a few hours.

I decided to pop to Pennington Flash as I thought there might be a reasonable sunset and as it is Bobsblips wide Wednesday challenge......not as impressive as Id hoped but nonetheless, pretty enough, but maybe not as wide a shot as I would have liked.

Hub has got the suitcases down from the loft, so not too long now :-)
