Belated Birthday

Ben has come home for three days following a wet Geography field trip to Malham.  He posted a photo of the back of his raincoat clad group trudging through the mud holding a soil analysis chart soaked by the rain on his 19th birthday (28th Oct)... with the comment 'best b/day eva'.  The boy really should be more positive :-) 

So now he's home for the rest of 'reading week' and has arranged to go out in Cambridge with friends tonight.  The fact he's been sleeping for the last 3 hours is not a deterrent.

First lot of washing is on and I've been cooking, fussing and chatting.  It's soooo nice to see him.
