A trip down to the hop fuming tastic Edinburgh. Oh how I love it, despite getting up at 3.30am. First on the cards a brexit briefing by some very clever people from the Scottish Human Rights Consortium, legal eagles from Strathclyde and Glasgow universities along with some good insight from government reps. What folly some folk have voted for. Moronic self harm is putting it way too mildly. We will have to work hard to protect those that will be hit hardest, turns out that will pretty much be everyone at some point as the impact on health and social care for the older and vulnerable amongst us comes to pass.

So onto a medicinal family meet up over food off the Royal Mile before heading for home - three generations - auntie, niece and grandma, talking about just 'athin.
