Hoofing day at Freshfields

Not hoofing in the tap dancing sense, but these donkeys are financially supported by a lot of actors including Dame Judi Dench and lord Richard Attenborough.

An early morning hoot in Stockport meant a return trip to London via the Derbyshire Dales. I stumbled across Freshfields Donkey Village by accident, so took a small detour.

The farrier clipped quite lot from this rescue donkeys hooves. He has to come back every two months. It's a bit like having your finger nails trimmed.
