Canal Crossing

Needed to go through Kildwick this morning for the first of two visits near there this week and stopped to take this shot as we crossed the canal
Then we went for our lunch at a new venue in Ilkley.
We were invited to the soft opening where the staff have a chance to test out their new skills before the official opening at the weekend.
Who doesn’t like a free lunch!
We have known the owner since he was a teenager studying in Leeds and it has been a pleasure to observe him become so successful as he now has sixteen bars with dining in the the North of England.
Don’t usually drink at lunchtime but made the exception today.
Had to turn down the offer to go back on Friday night for a bottle of prosecco and canapés as we are going away.
Don’t think l will be doing much for the rest of the day.
