Autumn Leaves - Stromness

After the Blip of 13th Sept this fairly indicates that the leaves have moved on in Church Road.  Debate rages on (at least in this household) about the definitive recording of the song ‘Autumn Leaves’.  Some sublime recordings of the original French version do exist.  However the combination of Johnny Mercer lyrics interpreted by Ella Fitzgerald is exceedingly hard to beat; peerless in fact.

Today (whilst CMC went away to the end of the Smoogro road to play the accordion in a hot-tub - strange but true) I forged ahead trying to seek funding for the Hoy Kirk for the 2018 season.

I am informed I will be at a wedding in Inverurie this coming weekend.  Should I take my fascinator ?
