it suddenly struck me that i haven't seen any of the boys playing conkers this year, so i asked my form what was going on. to my horror i was met with universal apathy and mutterings of "you have to make a hole and then you have to find string and it's so much hassle!"
apparently they've also been banned by the school health and safety committee!!
god help them in the future.
