Costume . . . my mom had only this pumpkin necklace whose pumpkins flashed on and off. Most staff were dressed elaborately, and several residents were, too.

Information . . . on potential pain? My mom said that she heard what we were saying about clouds twice. She said first through her feet and then a second later in her ear. From that and other tidbits I gathered that she has sinus congestion.

Stuff . . . my mom got a roommate today, and all the woman brought with her was a screen to separate her side of the room from my mom's and a cat. The cat seems quite friendly and isn't a bit afraid of Longshanks. LS was maximally interested in the bowl of cat food now in the room.
