Making and glazing clay bowls

We took a trip to Scarborough today so that the boys could try their hands at some clay work along with some of their home ed friends. Sam and Will are the youngest here, the eldest being Sarah who is 15. They all enjoyed themselves and Sam and Will concentrated and followed the instructions really well. They made and glazed leaf bowls and then had a play and made various bits with the left over clay. We have left the peices there to dry and to be fired before we can collect them. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished products.
