Top of the Poppy’s

I had to wait a while to get this photo of a musical poppy seller in The Grand Arcade, Cambridge. He was very popular and had a stream of customers who popped their coins into his pot in exchange for a poppy while he played jolly tunes on the piano.
It certainly brightened up my day.

Pops has boycotted her annual begging trip round the village in favour of the sofa and blanket. I fear there may be friendship issues going on. Or maybe a warm house seemed a better option than trailing round a cold, dark village.
As usual, we have many bags of sweets.
As usual, we have no trick or treaters.
Shame.
