Seven pounds sixty five pence

That's how much I have just paid for a 5ml (yes, 5ml) bottle of antibiotic ear spray. I had a mild ear infection when I walked into the doctors, and then a full blown earache when the pharmacist told me how much I would have to pay. I very nearly explained that for £7.65 I could buy a 750ml bottle of decent red wine and still have change for some chocolate. Can you sense I'm a bit annoyed?
