Blustery Halloween
It definitely feels like fall out there today - brilliant sunny skies and very blustery. I managed to find a few intrepid insects clinging to flowers in the garden, but wind isn't the friend of a macro photographer, so I abandoned that idea. Happily, I can just about always count on a Tufted Titmouse to come along and be cute. With their button eyes and little crests, they simply can't avoid being adorable...and throw in a little wind, some nice rim-lighting and a little fall bokeh and, bingo, you've got a blip.
And if this isn't enough cuteness for you in one day, hop on over to Flickr, starting HERE for a chickadee and a not-guilty chipmunk!
It is, so far, an uneventful day. And that is just fine with me. Little dog is still on a diet of chicken and rice but seems to be feeling better. And, surprise, the cats ventured downstairs yesterday afternoon in spite of Little Dog being here. Perhaps they sense weakness...
Thanks for stopping by! And Charlie says thanks for all the love yesterday. Actually, he just asked if you'd send treats.
