Plenty of Fluids

As I continue the slow recovery from this virus. Just a cold but a pretty unpleasant one. Some shocking news today when I heard from my friend R that our mutual friend I, a stalwart of Meadows Football back in the day, had died suddenly last Friday. Don't know what happened other than he'd been off sick but had expected to be back at work after the weekend. Heartbreaking as he can't have been much older than forty or so and got married earlier in the year. Although our paths haven't crossed so much lately we did bump into each other at Meadowbank every so often and were in touch on social media. Still numb at the news.
