How long until Christmas?

I promised  my friend I would knit her a cardigan for Christmas, and I've realised I should get on with it!  This is the right front, and with cables, bobbles and shaping the armhole and the vee neck, it is not a thing you can do without concentrating!  

After a lovely still and dry morning, perfect for getting the washing dry and working in the garden, dividing and moving plants, the rain came on so the washing was whisked back into the house, tools put away and I settled down to an afternoon of knitting.  Choir in the evening too, so all in all, a good day with lots done.
