An Apple a Day

The season of plenty is living up to its name in the places that a few late spring frost's didn't hit.

A glorious bright, clear and cold start gave way to another warm, sunny day for us lucky gardeners who are fortunate to be outside in the countryside.

I watched a video my daughter sent of the overgrown rear courtyard of her student digs getting transformed into a tidy space ready for some planting to take place and heard of plans to recycle some pallets into furniture, a table and a planter.

I also received a lovely card from a tired friend at the end of a long day.
