Crathes Castle

When I went out this morning I was surprised by how cold it was. Fortunately I was dressed appropriately otherwise I might have turned around to go back inside to get changed. We also had showers periodically during the day.

We thought we would have a snack at Milton of Crathes, but when we arrived it was very busy so we headed to Crathes Castle instead. Instead of a coffee I had an ice cream. Like yesterday this National Trust property was very busy as they also had Halloween events for children.

After a visit to the cafeteria we decided unusually to call it a day. Leaving the cafe it was starting to rain and still very cold, so not conducive even to take a walk around the walled garden.
