Playing with layers

It was U3A 'digipix' this afternoon, and we learned how to add texture to a photo, using Photoshop layers. I photographed this swan at Torcross, swimming on the freshwater of Slapton Ley. I've added texture from a photo I took of autumn leaves piled up - which, of course, has mixed with the natural texture of the water. I'm rather pleased with the result. Think it makes it look as if the swan were painted on bare wood.
