Meeting the snow

Monday walk in the woods outside Oslo. Cloudy, minus 2 degrees C. Not any sign of snow. I met it, however, after an hour walk uphill. Snow came here much later last year. Have to be prepared for a long Winter. Walked on snow and ice until I reached my destination set for the day. Lunch of own prepared slices of bread with brown goat cheese and ham. Coffee. An orange for dessert (Extra). Back hill down and hill up, mostly down from 500 m to 190 m where my car was parked. 4,5 hours and 20 Kilometer walking. Met two ladies, saw two big birds and a fresh elk trace. Nice good day for my body and soul.
