Wedding Anniversary trip to the Pier!

This was our 34th wedding anniversary and as we both liked the idea of a look at Clevedon Pier we drove up there before more hospital visiting. 

Ideally, we would have arranged to be there around sunset for the light, but that didn't fit in with the hospital so mid morning it had to be, which wasn't as bad as I had expected. Being a grade 1 listed structure, the pier is very well looked after and without any horrendous modern additions.  

The pagoda like structure at the end houses a small coffee shop - see extra for Gill buying her wedding anniversary cake!
