The view from the kitchen window

I don't usually set my alarm but I did for this morning .... I was taking my pal to the airport for 8.30 and I didn't want to sleep in! 

When I staggered through to the kitchen to make a cup of tea I was early enough to catch the sunrise and when I picked E up the day still looked promising but sadly by the time I was on my way from the airport the sky had clouded over.

It has been very dry .... ideal conditions for gathering up the fallen leaves for the cleansing to collect tomorrow ..... still hundreds hanging on to the overhanging branches so there will still be many black bags to fill.
