like a summer's day

Today we had an indian summer. A glorious day of very warm sunshine. I worked in the garden all day, stripped down to a sleeveless top. Plants are confused and think it's spring, buds breaking on roses and honeysuckle. 

This is the faded and dead flowers of a hydrangea, given new life by the golden sunshine.
