Friendly gull (or smells food!)

The Lower Gardens are a haven for squirrels, ducks, gulls, pigeons - oh and mice and rats. And no doubt no shortage of foxes. Reportedly an eagle was seen a couple of days ago (really?).

This friendly gull approached us and posed for a photo. Handsome birds, with character. I wish you could pick them up.

But then, I also remember when one of these fellahs swooped without warning and grabbed the Cornish Pasty I had just purchased in Padstow, and had been dreaming of all week.
