The Last Rose of Summer?..................

.................................Saw this hedge of Roses - quite a lot of hips but this one flower looking so fresh and bright - lovely!
There were still a few buds but whether they will open I do not know - getting pretty low temperatures at night now. Up on screen, I also saw this very tiny fly - and it is tiny 'cos' the rose is only about 2 and a half inches across.

Weather dull and chilly - no sign of the sun at the moment.
