Osteospermum

Now I have to come clean and declare that as an official card carrying horticultural dummy I would have had no idea what this flower was if my good wife hadn't told me. As it is, the name puts me in mind of one or two fairly painful medical conditions along with a biological curiosity of some sort.

Anyway, we go for a lovely morning walk several times a week and when the weather is looking especially pleasant (like it was this morning) I take my little G12 with me to snap odds and sods along the way. When something looks halfway presentable, I occasionally use it as a blip, as indeed I have today. I think it was the strong patrician colour which swung the deal on this occasion.
