Climber

This morning we all went to Fort Douglas at Dalkeith Country Park for a play.   There were lots of lovely Halloween pumpkins and displays, and CyclopsJnr had a great time climbing, sliding, swinging, see-sawing and roundabouting, interspersed with dashing, running and capering about the place.  Here he is seen arriving at the top of a big cargo net climb.  Cyclops blipped him on the slide.

Later we went to Ocean Terminal for their advertised Halloween fun.  It was supposed to go on until 4pm, but the face painting stopped accepting new people in the queue at 3:10!  They were spending soooo long on each child.  So we missed that.  CyclopsJnr got a pirate tattoo however, a skull toy, and saw lots of creepy animals.  He liked watching the giant hairy spiders the size of a ping-pong ball, and the giant centipede, and the enormous cockroaches.  He also enjoyed stroking a snake and a hedgehog!

A visit to Victoria Park on the way home (partly in the dark!) rounded off the day.
