Old Harry Rocks
Today, Mum and I sailed past Old Harry Rocks on our way to St. Peter Port on Guernsey, at the start of our two week holiday in the Channel Islands. We had just left Poole Harbour on a rather dreary morning when this limestone rock formation came into view.
These rocks stand on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset and mark the most easterly point of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
