A road trip adventure!

Sis and I headed off to the east coast today. I wanted to see Bass Rock and so we drove to North Berwick. On the way we spotted Tantallon Castle - the perfect place to shoot bass Rock AND the big bonus of a fabulous ruined castle to check out.
We had lunch in North Berwick and a walk then decided to head to the Forth Road Bridges for some shots. I checked out Google for viewpoints and then followed the Google Maps route. Man oh man what a mistake. It hadn't taken in the new roads and we ended up driving all round the Central belt of Scotland for what felt like hours. The only plus was that by the time we finally did get to the viewpoint the light was amazing :-)
I also took a wrong turn off the roundabout and we ended up going across the ew bridge. A mistake for sure but a pleasant one and amazing views. Must walk it one day
