Busy Sunday

Spent a bit of time trying to tame our hawthorn hedge.. it is a viscious beast.  I managed to remove most of the top of one of the trees and turn it back into a semi laid hedge.  Then thankfully the wind died down and we were able to burn the bonfire and clear all the fiendishly prickly remnants!!!  It is horrible having sunset at 5pm.. 
Now to clear the sitting room before the painter comes to do the decorating tomorrow.. so exciting!!!
