A sunny corner

A beautiful day, although quite cold. We went to Larch Cottage Nurseries for coffee and scones – how indulgent was that! It was very quiet, as there was some sort of Christmas Preview Event in the afternoon. The wood-burning outdoor oven was already going (Jamie Oliver £1,600!). We didn’t stay.
   
It was a joy to make the most of the sunny afternoon by sitting in the conservatory with the door open and getting on with knitting/reading/writing (not altogether!) in the wonderful light. And then the light went at 5pm and by 5.30 it is now dark. Oh dear!!
