Floating leaves

A beautiful Fall day today, so definitely a day for taking my exercise outside. It was rather cool first thing, so I left it till around noon, then I went walking early afternoon at Sharon Woods. I didnt get much on the wildlife front, except for a great blue heron, and he was partially hidden by foliage. The squirrels were too skittish, and even the ducks were hiding under overhanging boughs in poor light. However, I did get some nice landscape shots, from which I finally chose this one to use for today's blip - I just loved the carpet of leaves floating on the water. Early dinner this evening then out to handbell practice.
