Color

This morning I took my husband with me to Huntley Meadows where I knew the foliage would make some nice photographic backgrounds.  He had never been there before and for the most part, I think he enjoyed the outing...except for the fact that I got him up way before his usual time and then he watched me focus my camera on a hawk that didn't move for 45 minutes.  It turns out the hawk was too far away to get a decent shot anyway and it never moved, so all was in vain. He kept telling me he was fine and to stop worrying about him, but I was aware that he was waiting patiently and since it was pretty quiet there otherwise, I curtailed my outing much sooner than I normally would.
