Moon's Out
Mary MacIntyre, a local astro photographer was hosting an evening of moon viewing for the International Observe The Moon Night.
With a great, clear (ish) sky and some great telescopes, the ability to see the surface of the moon. With such detail was great, remembering that it is a mere 384400 kilometres away.
The current picture is a rubbish phone picture through the telescope eye piece. Hopefully a better camera picture will be along soon.
