La Caleta and parachutes

Nice morning spent at a rather lovely beach cafe watching the world go by while C & R dug and enjoyed the sand.

After a while we discovered the strip of beach in front of us was where the parachutists land after jumping off the top of Mount Teide! After we got over the initial shock of them coming in just feet above our heads it was fascinating and R loved the 'hot air balloons' as she called the parachutes!
