The Gardens at Dusk

Through in Edinburgh this afternoon for a special service of celebration for 150 years of Scripture Union.

On our way back to the bus station L and walked through Princes Street Gardens .... conditions were windy and rather gloomy so I've added a bit of enhancement added to the photo. 

As we neared the exit we saw this wonderful display of lanterns with the message 'Happy Diwali' on the railings. Great to see the splashes of colour as the light was beginning to fade.

Parking in Edinburgh is always difficult and not worth the hassle. L and I usually take the train but today we opted for a freebie and took the bus but it takes so much longer. Good to be home now .... slippers on and a cup of tea .... what could be better?
