Final Autumn offering?

I fear the 2017 moth trapping season is fast coming to an end, which makes me really sad :-(
But it has been a really great year with some amazing surprises! I simply can't wait for March and the beginning of the 2018 season!! 
This beauty is the Green-brindled crescent Allophyes oxyacanthae, a fairly common, but beautiful Autumnal species with a sprinkling of spectacular green metallic scales.
Guess I need to wash the trap and my moth pots now and store them carefully in the cupboard....time to peruse the records and see just how good 2017 really has been.
