Spoke to mum today, the NHS is moving at great speed and after her GP phoned this morning to say that she'd spoken to the ortho consulant and he'd e-mailed her MRI result (proving the prolapsed disc theory was correct) to the neurosurgeon this morning, mum then had a phone call from the neurosurgeon's secretary about 3pm today to give her an appointment for a week today, which will include her pre-op assessment. In some ways very encouraging, but a bit scary, you think it must be bad if they're moving that quickly! Though we've no idea how quickly the op will be scheduled after the appointment, but we really hope very soon indeed.

Mad week continuing, Saturday might include the joy of a bit of free time! Off to bed now!
