Snowy Waxcap

On this morning's early walk with the spaniel I came across a small pasture near Delves Farm, between Spithurst and the river Ouse, with three species of waxcap present - pink waxcap, the citrine waxcap and the snowy waxcap - and all in good numbers. This Snowy Waxcap (Hygrocybe virginea) was in the best condition.
