In the bush

Into the park for a good few hours before checking into our chalet at Bakubung. And what a great few hours they were.

It was hot, about 34 degrees, and we were quite envious of the ellies goofing about in the dam. We spent ages watching dung beetles pushing their vast balls of poo to who knows where.

Our chalet looks right down the valley so we waited for the braai to be ready while watching zebra and kudu wander past.

The cheeky chappy of a squirrel took crisps right from our hands and didn’t move too far as he chomped them down.

We finished the day watching Glasgow play the Southern Kings. Not a bad game but the highlight was the commentary from BBC Alba, absolutely hysterical.
