The Ice Cream Man

Today was a a day of adventures and ice cream. As BB was off to the 'girlie' party last night I decided to go through to West Kilbride to pick her up with Bella and her mum. We set out in a beautiful sunny winters day but as we gor further west the weather just got worse and worse but never daunted we picked her up and headed down to Largs for a walk on the beach and an ice cream.

Now having in ice-cream in January may not sound like a good idea, but Largs is the home of the great art-deco ice cream palace and the Scottish institution that is Nardini's.

I had a Knickerboker Glory there when I was a wee boy, we took LLB for one when she was wee and today Bella got the chance of eating a mountain of ice cream.

...and this chap, well he is one of the proud new owners of the business.

So a splendid time was had by all.




......and on the way home the car broke down but the RAC had us back on the road, in the middle of a storm, within 45 minutes. Excellent service.
