Nature's patterns

Noticed this dried leaf on one of my native grass like plants the other day showing some intriguing shapes so put it inside for a blip on a rainy day. Well today has certainly turned out to be one of those days, and did a bit of a fiddle with textures and colours.
Thought we might have been just about out of having a fire, but it seemed to get colder and colder so ended up lighting it. Have had lots of people popping in to check up on the lad and one of the neighbour's very kindly chopped some more wood for me and carried it upstairs - I was extremely grateful. And V1K1, thank the "forester" for the wood supply!!!
