Gap in the Trees

Up early and worked through the morning.  It was a lovely sunny day and so I walked Maisie before lunch and then got out with my camera for an hour in the afternoon.   

Watched the last couple of episodes of Ken Burns Vietnam War on the player this evening.   Appartently this is an abbreviated 10 hour version for the UK - the full PBS version runs for an 18 hours.   Anyway this length of programming allows the story to unfold chronologically and in great detail. It's old school television which reminds me of watching the 'World at War' when I was a kid.   If you have the chance also watch Ken Burns telling of the American Civil War which is a similar type of programming and also fascinating.
