Hydrangeas....

....gradually making the change from summer to autumn, drying out & turning brown....I think both stages are equally appealing!
Tom had his lab work drawn this morning in preparation for the start (on Monday) of round three of chemo, and for the first time his red blood cells came up on their own--not by a lot, but any increase is good. His platelets are the highest they've been since chemo started, which is also good. Of course with the start of chemo they'll all fall again, but at least they're recovering a bit in between!  :))
