Halloween

What a busy and exciting day at nursery.

We had to be there at the earliest opportunity (8.30am) because the nursery classes were going to join the primary school assembly for Eco Day.  This involved ‘a lady who left rubbish and her lunch’ (?) and it is reported that they sat beautifully.  Later, the children got involved with putting some things into the recycling bins.

Also, Halloween!  The children were allowed to come dressed up, and CyclopsJnr had a new t-shirt with bats on, and a bat hood and cape.  He was so thrilled and did a lot of flying about and flapping his wings.  This is the only photo that was captured as most had too much movement from all of the leaping.  We’re told it was a lovely day with playing in the woods and drinking hot chocolate there, dooking for apples, and eating donuts hung from a string.  CyclopsJnr loved that all of his friends were in costume.

Afterwards we went to the far-away park and the wood/tyre park on the way home, then a little bit of telly and resting.

CyclopsJnr was tired out, MrsCyclops had only got four minutes into X Factor before cyclops was back downstairs after putting him to bed.
