Dolly and the reclining Buddha!

Stef and I took a trip down to Chom Thong to visit Wat Mok Khan Lan, they have an impressive reclining Buddha! I think you get a decent sense of his size from this photo, he was too large to fit all of him in! The dark things you can see on his face are wasp nests, the undulated with the wasps which was incredibly creepy! The rest of this Wat had lots of interesting things to see, many statues and also dinosaurs, which was interesting! We stopped in Chom Thong to visit Wat Phra That Si Chom Thong Worawihan, another nice Wat but this one was mostly dedicated to the rat star sign of which I and Stef belong, being born in 1984, the year of the rat! We went out to dinner this evening to a restaurant over looking a waterfall, it was a most idilic setting to eat and spend the evening chatting!
