The Pumpkin Patch

This morning we took the girls to the Hayloft, which is a local farm that has opened up a cafe and play area, and which has a pumpkin patch. Rach wanted to get pumpkins to carve for the girls, and I bought one to make soup.

It was really cool, as the maize created a maze and we had to walk through it to get to the pumpkin patch - it was rather muddy though!

Pumpkins picked and bought, we then drove to mum’s and we all went out for lunch which was nice. We went in separate cars so that I could take mum to do her food shopping and Rach could take the girls home.

I was supposed to be babysitting tonight so Rach & Scott could go out, but Scott’s come home from work really tired so they’re staying in. I’d already bought a curry, so they’ve ordered a pizza and we’ll have a nice relaxing night.
