The Birds and the Buck

I was sitting in the kitchen this morning, eating breakfast and watching the birds feeding when this roebuck appeared on the far side of the field. It slowly grazed across the field until it reached this corner closest to our house, then it turned into the forest and disappeared.
It's unusual for us to see roe deer on their own and it was comparatively unafraid.
We do live in a nice place!
