Transporter Sunrise

Mrs BB was starting work at 6.30am and, having woke me, I decided to get up and try for a sunrise photograph - something I don't do enough.  I headed across Newport to The Transporter Bridge and watched the sun rising over the city; swarms of birds flying around low over the water.

The two photo's I like equally are the main photo of the gondola of the Transporter Bridge over the River Usk with the docks buildings and wind turbine set against the lovely sunrise colours. The extra is a view from the bridge towards The City Bridge with a bright red boat stuck in the mud with a rickety jetty. You decide which you like best. Lovely colours in that, too.

After having a haircut this afternoon it was time to give one to our lawns - hopefully the last this year!
