A lovely sunny day...

...  in Northumberland. Off we went to Holy Island aiming to photograph the castle, because it would be in better light than on our last visit.

Sod's Law, the castle is currently covered with scaffolding. So this cooperative heron by the causeway won the vote for today's blip subject.
